Not sure if being a year-long Annual Pass Holder Membership is right for you? Grab one of our From Here To There Passes! For $30 a family, you can come back to Sloan Musuem and Longway Planetarium as often as you like, all summmer long! Just stop by the museum or planetarium and you are on your way. Join our Annual Pass Holder Club Membership Program that is designed to make your visits to our institutions more convenient and affordable. Sloan Museum/Buick Automotive Gallery and Longway Planetarium have united and welcome you to join the club!

Membership Options

Family Membership: $85.00
Family memberships are intended to represent one household (immediate family) with 1, but not more than 2 adults and all children 18 and under; or in the case of grandparents, two grandparents and grandchildren 18 and under.

Share-a-Pass: $40.00
Admission for one member and a guest (same or different upon each visit) of the member's choice

Student Pass : $20.00
One individual with a valid student ID

Frequently Asked Questions

May I lend my membership card to another family member or caregiver in my place who does not live in my household?

Individuals from separate households are asked to please purchase separate memberships. Members listed on their membership card will receive admission/benefits, but additional children or caregivers outside of the immediate household accompanying the family will receive $1.00 off admission.

When does my membership expire?

A membership expires one year after the membership is processed.

Does my membership allow free admission to the Sloan Summer Auto Fair?

Sloan Museum's Annual Summer Auto Fair is a fundraising event that has been operated by an all volunteer committee of dedicated individuals for over 35 years. This event provides funding for the acquisition and restoration of vehicles for the Museum and Buick Gallery. Because of this, we ask that our members partner in this fundraising event by paying the requested admission price.

Sloan Museum is a member of the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) and its passport program. We honor membership cards from ASTC member institutions outside a 90 mile radius. 

Reciprocal Agreements with ASTC Museums within 90 mile radius:

• Alden B. Dow Museum of Science & Art: Free General Admission
• Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum: Members receive 50% admission discount.
• Cranbrook Institute of Science: Free General Admission

• Exhibit Museum of Natural History (Ann Arbor): Free General Admission
• Flint Children’s Museum: $1.00 off General Admission
• Impression 5 Science Center: Free General Admission
